different ripple and a nonslip recycling idea
I was wandering around Crochetville and found a post that had this flat edged ripple as a suggestion. It was so cleverly ‘new’ that I had to try it. Its not written in an easy-to-understand manner, but I managed. Not sure I like it, the peaks end up being too…pokey for my liking. But its still neat.
Someone else was wondering about non slip options for rag rugs. Its been tucked into my subconscious for year as well. I had thought about lengths of the nonslip matting worked in, or condoms cut up and tied on…but then I saw the dead rubber glove and started thinking whether I could use that. I cut it up ok, but I am yet to see if it will crochet well, AND be non slip. Only one way to find out eh?
*edit* nix that idea. It is so non slip it doesn’t slide on the hook! I could probably have tried harder, but that might have ripped it all to bits
anyway..the rubber would degrade too fast

Awesome blog!
I thought about starting my own blog too but I’m just too lazy so, I guess I’ll just have to keep checking yours out.
LOL,
