about not getting anything done?

Quite a few of my socks have heel holes in them now days, and rather than darn them, coz they are already recycled from old toe socks, I have been wondering if they’d make a nice rug.  So last night, with sharp scissors handy I tried it. I first dithered about how I was going to cut them, I know some people have used sock loops.  I decided to cut them as a spiral and then stretch like you’d do for t-shirt yarn.  Out of one ankle length sock I got a bit more than 2 metres.  Coz I have a penchant for bright lairy socks, this is that it ended up like.

Fun eh?

I think I need the 15mm hook rather than the 12mm.
