2dc, ch 2 six times, join, sl st to ch 2 space

[2dc, ch2, 2dc] in each ch 2 space, join, sl st to ch 2 space

[2dc, ch2, 2dc in ch2 space, ch 1, 2dc in next space, ch 1] rpt 5 times, join, sl st to ch 2 space

shell in shell, ch 1, 2dc in each space, join, sl st to ch 2 space – rpt until piece is as wide as your spread hand, or 6, 7 inches

2dc, ch 1 in each space, join, sl st to ch 2 space – rpt 5, or 6 times. Depends on hair thickness and whether you want to tuck your hair in.

sc in each st, join, ch 1

sc in 1st st, *sc dec in next, sc in next 10. rpt from * join, ch 1

sc in 1st st, *sc dec in next, sc in next 9. rpt from *, join, ch1

sc in each st, join ch1

sc in 1st st, *sc dec in next, sc in 8. rpt from * join, ch1

try beret on!!

decide if its the right size, or needs another row or two of full decreases, or one of more sporadic ones.

For DD’s I dec every 7 st for one row, then every 20. Add an extra row of sc if you feel like it. Total rows = 19
